Refund Policies: Buyer's Right to Cancel
  • All cancellation requests must be in writing.

  • No refund will be made for application fee and course material given to student.

  • All fees will be refunded if the course is withdrawn or not offered.

  • On premature cessation of the course, all fees and charges that have been collected in respect of any part of the course falling to be conducted on or after the date of the cessation will be refunded within 1 month of the premature cessation.

  • There is no refund due to courses that exceed the original completion date per GIA refund policy.

  • If the student wants to re-enroll after a course expires the student will be required to pay all application tuition fees and re-submit all assignments, including those previously submitted for the expired course.


Refund policy for On Campus and Night programs
If enrollment is cancelled GIA retains
On or Before the first day of class Application Fee
On or Before 50% of the course A pro rata amount of the course fee plus application fee, books, and materials fees
After 50% of the class 100% of course fee


Refund policy for Distance Education programs and courses
If enrollment is cancelled GIA retains
Before we receive your first completed assignment submission 20% of the total course fee, or HK$1,000 (whichever is less) as application fee plus course materials
After completing 50% or less of the total assignment submissions in the program 50% of the course fee plus application fee and course materials
After completing more than 50% of the assignment submissions 100% of course fee


Refund policy for Lab Classes
If enrollment is cancelled GIA retains
On or Before the first day of class Application fee
After completing up to 10% of the class 10% of class fee, plus application fee
After completing up to 11% to 50% of the class 50% of class fee, plus application fee
After completing more than 50% of the class 100% of class fee
